About Me

Scott Elliott: BIRTHDAY- 5/25/1990 HEIGHT- 1.82m/6 feet WEIGHT- 68.95kg./152 lbs- I am a vaulter from Oregon who is training and striving to now make the 2016 Olympic team and beyond. My current PR is 4.90m/16'0.75". I jumped 4.41m/14'6" for Crook County High School and am the current school record holder. I graduated from Crook County in 2008.Then went to Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon where I jumped my PR of 4.90m/16'0.75" from an 8 stride on a 15'6" 185lbs pole in 2009. My second year at Lane I ended up having a rough year and only got back to a 5 stride gripping at 14'4 on a 15'185 pole. I ended up jumping 4.77m/15'8". Even though I didn't jump as high as I wanted, due to not leaving the ground constantly, I still thought i had improved a lot.Last year in 2011 i jumped 4.90M/16'0.75" from a 7 Stride holding at 14'8" on a 15'6" 175#. Last year the ultimate goal was to jump at least 5.50M and make the Olympic Trials. I did not achieve this goal, but I had a great season and had a lot of improvements. I was being coached by Mark Vanderville.
